Brian Jones received his B.A. in Vocal Performance from Central Connecticut State University, where he studied with Maxim Ivanov, Craig Hart, and Joanne Scattergood. While at CCSU he also studied conducting under Dr. Pam Perry, and toured with CCSU’s University Singers in China as a singer and guest conductor. He has been a finalist in the NATS (National Association for Teachers of Singing) competition for the Connecticut chapter, and has sung in two National ACDA Honor Choirs in Oklahoma City and Chicago. He is currently a section leader and soloist at Asylum Hill Congregational Church, along with being a director of the Children’s choir and member of the Hand Bell Choir. He is also the director of the Hartford Public High School Show Choir, and the assistant conductor for the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Chorus in New London.
