Known for his compelling musicianship and leadership, Stephen Mark Singleton has become one of New England’s most sought-after conductors.  Mr. Singleton serves as Artistic Director of Voce, Chorus Director of the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Chorus and Director of Music at Immanuel Congregational Church.  He has held faculty positions at the University of Connecticut and Central Connecticut State University.

Mark has served as guest clinician, teacher and conductor for festivals and workshops throughout the United States, China, Europe and Africa. He has prepared choruses and served as guest conductor for many orchestras including the National Symphony of China, the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, New Haven Symphony Orchestra, Liberty Symphony Orchestra, Arcadiana Symphony Orchestra and the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra.

Mark has been described by his teacher and mentor Dr. Peter Bagley as an “exceptional talent.” Most recently, Morten Lauridsen, famed American composer and National Medal of Arts recipient, described his work as “exemplifying choral performance at its finest.”
