
Mark Singleton
Stephen Mark Singleton is a distinguished conductor, composer, writer, and guest speaker whose career spans the globe, collaborating with choirs and orchestras of diverse styles and ages. Renowned for his energetic and magnetic leadership, Mark is a leading figure in New England’s music scene, particularly celebrated for his role as co-founder and Artistic Director of Voce.

NicDaniel
NicDaniel is a Bass-Baritone currently studying at the Hartt School of the University of Hartford, where he specializes in classical voice and cabaret-style singing. Earlier this year, he portrayed the role of Polyphemus in Hartt’s production of Handel’s Acis and Galatea. An active versatile choral singer in the community, NicDaniel has performed with numerous groups, including the Greater Middletown Chorale, the New Haven Chorale, Chorus Angelicus-Gaudeamus under Gabriel Löfvall, and the Manchester Symphony Orchestra and Chorale (MSOC). He is excited to join the Voices of Hartford team as the Artistic Coordinator this season.

Cheryl Tierney
Cheryl Tierney is an accomplished music educator and conductor with over 39 years of experience in vocal music instruction at the elementary level in West Hartford. She holds both a Bachelor and Master of Music Education degree from the Hartt School of Music with a concentrated focus on choral and Kodály pedagogy. Cheryl also holds undergraduate and graduate certification from the Kodály Musical Training Institute.

Sarah Chassé
Mrs. Chassé has been teaching in the Connecticut public schools for more than 20 years and is currently the vocal music teacher at Wolcott Elementary School in West Hartford. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Kodály from the Hartt School of Music.
